Authorizes the Commissioner of Education to make grants to State educational agencies for the costs of providing a regular education program for Indochinese refugee children.
Authorizes grants to State educational agencies for the administration costs related to the grants made under this bill.
Entitles each State educational agency to receive in fiscal year 1976 amounts equaling additional expenditures incurred under this Act.
Requires funds received under this Act to be used for: (1) supplementary educational services for such children; (2) additional basic instructional services; and (3) special in-service training personnel.
Authorizes to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 1976, for the transitional period, and for fiscal year 1977.
