Drug Dependent Offenders Amendments of 1986 - Grants the Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts authority to contract with public and private agencies for the detection and treatment of alcohol-dependent and drug-dependent offenders.
Amends the Contract Services for Drug Dependent Federal Offenders Authorization Act of 1983 to authorize appropriations for contracts for the supervision of released drug offenders.
