A bill to amend the Civil Rights Act of 1957 to provide that individuals appointed to the Civil Rights Commission shall serve for a term of six years and may be removed from office only for neglect of duty or malfeasance in office, and for other purposes.

Amends the Civil Rights Act of 1957 to allow appointees to the Commission on Civil Rights to serve for a term of six years. Provides that a Commission member may only be removed by the President for neglect of duty or malfeasance in office.

Extends the life of the Commission 15 years.

Authorizes appropriations.
