Amends the Flammable Fabrics Act to prohibit the manufacture, sale, or importation for sale in commerce of any article of interior furnishing for nonresidential use which has not been processed as required by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Directs the Commission to establish processing requirements which make such articles fire-resistant to the extent necessary to protect the public against unreasonable risk of fire leading to death, injury, or significant property damage.
