Fire Prevention Study Act of 1980 - Amends the Flammable Fabrics Act to direct the Secretary of Commerce, acting through the Administrator of the United States Fire Administration, to conduct a study on fire prevention and control standards. Specifies the content of such study, including the role and nature of Federal involvement in fire prevention and control. Requires the Secretary to report the findings to Congress. Authorizes appropriations to carry out this Act.
