A bill to authorize any bank holding company located in the standard metropolitan statistical area in which the District of Columbia is located to acquire control of banks located throughout such area.

Amends the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956 to authorize any bank holding company whose operations are principally conducted in the Washington, D.C., standard metropolitan statistical area to acquire interest in a bank located outside the State but in the Washington, D.C., standard metropolitan statistical area.
