Red Lung Benefits Act of 1980 - Amends the Black Lung Benefits Act to provide to iron miners benefits comparable to those provided to coal miners.
Amends the Internal Revenue Code to impose a tax on iron ore producers comparable to that imposed on coal producers and to allow a deduction for contributions to a trust fund created to provide compensation for the death or disability of iron miners.
