Amplitude Modulated Broadcast Station Experiment Act of 1979 - Directs the Federal Communications Commission, within six months after the date of enactment of this Act, to conduct an experiment and study of the feasibility of establishing extended broadcasting hours of operation for amplitude modulated broadcast radio stations which have station licenses.
Requires the Commission to report the results of such experiment and study to the Congress within two years of the date of enactment of this Act.
