A bill to establish National Historic Trails as a new category of trails within the National Trails System, to include the Iditarod Trail, Alaska, in the National Trails System as a National Historic Trail.

Amends the National Trails System Act to establish National Historic Trails as a new category of trails within the National Trails System. Sets qualifications for designation as a National Historic Trail, including establishment through historic use and national significance with respect to any recreational use related to historic appreciation.

Designates the Iditarod Trail, Alaska, as a national historic trail within the National Trails System.
