A bill to amend the Natural Gas Act.
Temporary Natural Gas Emergency Supply Act - Authorizes the President to determine that a natural gas supply emergency exists within interstate pipeline service areas.
Directs the Federal Power Commission to order transfers of natural gas supplies to pipeline systems which are experiencing emergencies from other pipelines.
Stipulates that the emergency authority granted by this Act shall expire on May 1, 1977.
