A bill to amend chapter 44 of title 18 of the United States Code (respecting firearms) to penalize the use of firearms in the commission of any felony and to increase the penalties in certain related existing provisions, to lower certain age limits from twenty-one years to eighteen, and to eliminate certain recordkeeping provisions with respect to ammunition.

Provides a penalty of 5 to 10 years imprisonment for possession or use of a firearm during the commission of a felony subject to original jurisdiction in Federal court. States that this penalty is in addition to the punishment imposed for the felony itself.

Lowers the age limit for persons who may purchase firearms from 21 to 18 years of age.

Eliminates record keeping requirements with respect to the identity and address of purchase of ammunition.
