A bill to amend title 10, United States Code, to permit the Secretary of the Navy to establish annually the total number of limited-duty officers permitted on the active list of the Navy and Marine Corps.

Directs the Secretary of the Navy to prescribe annually the total number of officers on the active list in the line of the Navy and Marine Corps designated for limited duty and the number permitted in each grade below rear admiral and brigadier general.

Directs the Secretary to establish such number for lesser ranks.
