Department of Housing and Urban Development - Independent Agencies Appropriation Act -
=Title I: Department of Housing and Urban Development= - Makes specified appropriations for fiscal year 1976 and the transition period ending September 30, 1976 for: (1) housing programs; (including the emergency homeowners' relief fund; State housing finance and development agencies; annual contributions for assisted housing, including specified sums for designated public housing agencies; the rent supplement program; housing for the elderly or handicapped, including specified sums for 100 percent loans for development of housing for the elderly or handicapped with no cash equity; housing payments; and payments for operation of low-income housing projects); (2) the Government National Mortgage Association; (3) community planning and development; (4) the Federal Insurance Administration; (5) the Office of Interstate Land Sales Administration; (6) departmental management; and (7) the Federal Disaster Assistance Administration.
=Title II: Independent Agencies= - Makes specified appropriations for fiscal year 1976 and the transition period ending September 30, 1976 for: (1) the American Battle Monuments Commission; (2) the Consumer Product Safety Commission, prohibiting funds for the Commission from being used to prepare or enforce regulations to restrict the sale of firearms, ammunition or components; (3) the Department of Defense for Civil cemetarial expenses; (4) the Environmental Protection Agency; (5) the Council on and the office of Environmental Quality; (6) the Consumer Information Center; (7) the Office of Consumer Affairs; (8) the National Aeronautics and Space Administration; (9) the National Science Foundation; (10) the Selective Service System; and (11) the Veterans' Administration.
=Title III: Corporations= - Makes specified appropriations for fiscal year 1976 and the transition period ending September 30, 1976 for: (1) the Government National Mortgage Association; and (2) the Federal Home Loan Bank Board.
=Title IV: General Provisions= - Places specified limitations on the use of funds appropriated by this Act.
Prohibits the use of any funds appropriated to the Consumer Product Safety Commission for the preparation or enforcement of regulations to restrict the sale of firearms or ammunition.
