A bill to amend title 39, United States Code, with respect to the organizational and financial matters of the U.S. Postal Service and the Postal Rate Commission.
Postal Reorganization Act Amendments - Provides that any decision on proposed postal rates, fees, or mail classification shall be made by a vote of an absolute majority of the Postal Rate Commission.
Directs the Commission to transmit its recommended decision on postal rates, fees, and mail classification to the Board of Governors of the Postal Service within ten months of the request for such decision by the Postal Service. Authorizes the Board to make temporary changes in rates, fees, and mail classification whenever the Commission fails to transmit its recommended decision.
