A bill to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 1976 for the purpose of carrying out titles I and III of the Marine Protection, Research, and Sanctuaries Act of 1972, as amended.
Authorizes appropriations for administration of regulation of ocean dumping under the Marine Protection, Research, and Sanctuaries Act, not to exceed $5,300,000 for fiscal year 1976, and not to exceed $1,325,000 for the transition period from July 1, through September 30, 1976.
Authorizes the appropriation for monitoring and research relating to ocean dumping under such Act of not to exceed $1,500,000 for the transition period.
Authorizes necessary appropriations for the designation of and the regulation and enforcement of marine sanctuaries including the acquisition, development, and operation of sanctuaries, under such Act of not to exceed $6,200,000 for fiscal year 1976; and not to exceed $1,550,000 for the transition period.
