A bill to amend the Clayton Act to prohibit undue concentration in the energy-producing industries.
Energy Industry Deconcentration Act - Prohibits any corporation or association from: (1) controlling deposits of more than one type of energy-producing mineral, after December 31, 1979 and (2) engaging engaging in more than one aspect of the petroleum and natural gas industry after December 31, 1979.
Requires corporations or associations which would be in violation of this Act except for the effective date to submit plans for compliance to the Federal Trade Commission before January 1, 1978.
Prohibits any individual from serving as a director of more than one company engaged in every resource production, refining, transportation, or marketing.
