A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act to provide that the entitlement of an insured individual to old age or disability insurance benefits (and the entitlement of his or her dependents) shall generally continue through the month of such individual's death instead of terminating with the preceding month.

Provides that the entitlement of an insured individual and his or her dependents under title II (Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act to old-age or disability insurance benfits shall continue through the month of such individual's death (now terminates with the preceding month). States that if the amount of benefits such individual is entitled to in the month of his death would be greater if such individual had died in the month preceding the actual month of death, such individual will be deemed to have died in such earlier month.
