Permits veterans receiving veterans' educational assistance benefits while pursuing a program of education recognized by the Veterans' Administration to continue to receive such assistance at the close of the present ten-year delimiting period until whichever of the following first occur: (1) the veteran fails to progress in the program; (2) the veteran fails to pursue the program on the same basis that he was pursuing the program at the close of the ten-year period, for any reason other than a reason beyond his control; (3) the veteran completes the program; or (4) the veteran exhausts the educational assistance to which he is entitled.
Makes the provisions of this Act effective on May 31, 1976. (Amends 38 U.S.C. 1662)
