A bill to provide for disclosure of certain information by certain persons making charitable solicitations by use of instrumentalities of interstate commerce.

Provides that any person who uses any instrumentality of interstate commerce to make any solicitation for contributions for any charitable purpose shall furnish specified information, including the following to any recipient of such solicitation who, in writing, requests such information within 180 days: (1) the name and principal address of the person making the solicitation; (2) the general purpose or purposes for which the person is organized and operating; (3) the general purpose or purposes for which the contributions solicited shall be used by the person referred to; and (4) any other information which the Secretary of Commerce determines is necessary or appropriate to carry out this Act.

Sets forth criminal penalties for violations of the provisions of this Act.
