Authorizes the Committee on Veterans' Affairs to conduct full and complete studies and investigations and make inquiries within its jurisdiction.
Provides that, in addition, the committee or any subcommittee thereof is authorized to conduct full and complete studies and investigations and make inquiries within its jurisdiction regarding: (1) medical facilities, hospitals, counseling programs, and veterans' benefits for American veterans and servicemen in the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Cambodia, Laos, and South Vietnam; (2) present counseling programs, the quality of medical care, and the operation of education, pension, and other programs for American veterans and servicemen in Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, West Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Italy, and Greece; and (3) cemetaries of the United States in which veterans of any war or conflict are or may be buried, whether in the United States or abroad, except cemetaries administered by the Secretary of the Interior.
Sets forth restrictions on funds appropriated for such studies and investigations.
