To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 to provide an exemption from the income tax for any amounts received under a state or local retirement system.

Provides, under the Internal Revenue Code, that gross income does not include any amount received by an individual in any taxable year as a pension, annuity, or other benefit under a State or local public retirement system.
