A bill to correct certain inequities regarding the making and termination of appointments under Executive Order No. 11521, relating to veterans readjustment appointments for veterans of the Vietnam era, and for other purposes.

Extends for veterans of the Vietnam era, the period of appointment to positions in the competitive service, up to and including GS-5, from one year to two years after separation from the Armed Forces, release from hospitalization, or involuntary separation without cause from an earlier appointment.
