To direct the Homeland Security Council and the National Security Council, in consultation with Federal departments and agencies responsible for biodefense, to update the National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza, and for other purposes.
National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza Update Act
This bill requires the White House Homeland Security Council (HSC) and the National Security Council (NSC) to update the National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza issued by the HSC in November 2005 within 90 days of this bill's enactment.
The implementation plan associated with the strategy shall be updated not later than 180 days after such update.
