To amend the Act of October 19, 1949 (15 U.S.C. 375 et seq.; commonly referred to as the "Jenkins Act"), to prevent the interstate sale and delivery of electronic cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco to minors in violation of law.
Stop Tobacco Sales to Youth Act of 2018
This bill amends the Jenkins Act to require that the sale and delivery of electronic cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco be regulated in the same manner as traditional tobacco products, including to assess federal, state, and local excise taxes on the sale and delivery of these products.
