To amend title 5, United States Code, to apply certain annuity benefits to Federal Protective Service law enforcement officers, and for other purposes.
Federal Protective Service Parity Act of 2017
This bill makes law enforcement officers in the Federal Protective Service of the Department of Homeland Security eligible for federal retirement benefits under the Civil Service Retirement System or the Federal Employees Retirement System.
