To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for an incremental expansion of telehealth coverage under the Medicare program.
Medicare Telehealth Parity Act of 2017
This bill provides for the incremental expansion of telehealth coverage under the Medicare program. Specifically, the bill expands the lists of:
Additionally, the bill provides for coverage of remote patient-monitoring services for chronic health conditions.
The bill also allows for a patient-specific waiver process of the required monthly face-to-face visit between an individual with end-stage renal disease and a qualified professional.
