To prohibit the pay of Members of Congress during periods in which a Government shutdown is in effect, and for other purposes.
No Government No Pay Act of 2015
A Member of Congress may not receive pay, during a government shutdown, equal to the product of 1 day's worth of pay under such annual rate and the number of 24-hour periods during which the government shutdown is in effect. This prohibition is applicable to days occurring during the 115th and succeeding Congresses.
