To authorize the Federal Emergency Management Agency to award mitigation financial assistance in certain areas affected by wildfires.
Wildfire Prevention Act of 2015
Amends the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act to authorize the President to provide: (1) hazard mitigation assistance in any area affected by a fire for which assistance was provided, whether or not a major disaster had been declared; and (2) fire management assistance in any area affected by a fire for which hazard mitigation assistance was provided.
