To enhance certain prohibitions and penalties relating to certain forms of firearms trafficking.
Border Security Enhancement Act of 2011 - Amends the federal criminal code to increase the penalty (from five to ten years' inprisonment) for knowingly making a false statement or representation regarding information required to be kept in the records of a licensed firearms dealer, importer, manufacturer, or collector.
Includes offenses involving misrepresentations relating to firearms within the definition of "specified unlawful activity" for purposes of the prohibition against financial transactions involving the proceeds of such activity.
