United States-Singapore Free Trade Agreement Act of 2000

To authorize the negotiation of a Free Trade Agreement with the Republic of Singapore, and to provide for expedited congressional consideration of such an agreement.

Summary

United States-Singapore Free Trade Agreement Act of 2000 - Authorizes the President to enter into a free trade agreement with Singapore to seek the elimination of tariff and nontariff barriers in order to achieve more open market access, on a reciprocal basis, to internationally traded goods and services.

Amends the Trade Act of 1974 to apply its fast track procedures (precluding amendments) to the implementing bills for such an agreement.
