Digital Divide Elimination Act of 2000

Digital Divide Elimination Act of 2000 - Amends the Internal Revenue Code to provide earned income-eligible taxpayers with a credit (50 percent of expenses up to $500 annually) for the purchase of qualifying Internet-accessible computers and equipment.

Extends and expands the deduction for charitable computer contributions to elementary and secondary schools.
