Amends the Federal criminal code to prohibit: (1) any person convicted in any court of a drug crime from possessing a firearm for five years after committing such a crime or, if during such five-year period the individual is convicted of violating any Federal or State law relating to firearms, for five years after such later conviction; (2) any person, during such period, from knowingly transferring a firearm to any individual who has been convicted in any court of a drug crime; or (3) any person from knowingly transferring a firearm to any individual under indictment for a drug crime.
Provides enhanced penalties for possession of a firearm during and in relation to the commission of a drug crime.
