Amends the Agricultural Trade Development and Assistance Act of 1954 to require micronutrient fortification of food program commodities.
Directs the Administrator of the Agency for International Development to study the feasibility of micronutrient fortification of vegetable oil.
Expresses the sense of the Congress that such food programs should: (1) place more emphasis on food needs assessment; (2) target the most vulnerable groups; and (3) encourage in-country micronutrient fortification.
