A bill to amend the Public Health Service Act to provide for excellence in research with respect to juvenile arthritis, and for other purposes.
Juvenile Arthritis Research Excellence Act - Amends provisions of the Public Health Service Act relating to the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMSD) to provide for planning, research, and other matters focusing on such diseases (especially arthritis) in children, including providing for the establishment of a multipurpose arthritis and musculoskeletal disease center for children.
Makes related changes in the National Arthritis Advisory Board.
