To amend the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 to provide compensatory and punitive damages that are consistent with the damages authorized by section 1977A of the Revised Statutes, and for other purposes.
Age Discrimination Parity Act of 1992 - Amends the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (the Act) to provide, in the cases of non-Federal employees and Federal employees, for compensatory and punitive damages consistent with specified damages authorized under the Revised Statutes.
Provides for coverage of certain employees in the legislative branch of the Federal Government. Limits the maximum aggregate amount of compensatory and punitive damages which may be awarded under such provisions.
