To require the Director of National Drug Control Policy to establish procedures to allow State and local governments to buy weapons and other equipment in conjunction with the Federal Government for purposes of drug enforcement.
Police Equipment Procurement Act of 1990 - Requires the Director of National Drug Control Policy to establish procedures under which State and local governments may purchase certain law enforcement equipment in conjunction with the Departments of Defense and Justice.
Requires the Director to report to the Congress within six months on a list of covered law enforcement equipment and a description of notification procurement procedures.
