To direct the Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of the Interior to provide interpretation and visitor education regarding the rich cultural heritage of the Chama River Gateway Region of northern New Mexico.
Chama River Gateway to the Past Interpretation and Visitor Education Act of 1990 - Directs the Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of the Interior to implement a program of interpretation and visitor education regarding the prehistoric, historic, and cultural resources within the Chama River Gateway Region in New Mexico. Requires the Secretaries to develop an Interpretation and Visitor Education Plan for the Region and to develop part of the Ghost Ranch Living Museum as a visitor center.
Authorizes appropriations.
