Establishes a Commission to investigate, and report to the Congress and the Secretary of Transportation on, the labor dispute involving Eastern Airlines and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, the Air Line Pilots Association, and the Transport Workers Union.
Requires that Commission members be appointed within ten days after enactment of this Act by specified congressional officers.
Requires the Commission to submit such report to the Congress and the Secretary within 45 days after enactment of this Act. Directs the Secretary to make the report available to the public.
Provides that this Act shall be carried out using funds otherwise available to the Secretary for expenses of advisory committees.
Terminates the Commission upon submission of its report.
