Requests the President to issue a proclamation: (1) commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Javits-Wagner-O'Day Act, which occurs on June 25, 1988; (2) commending the efforts of the blind and severely handicapped employees of workshops connected with the Act; (3) calling on the workshops and central nonprofit agencies in the Javits-Wagner-O'Day program to give priority in management and supervisory positions to blind and handicapped individuals; and (4) calling for expanded employment opportunities for such individuals.
