A bill to require the Secretary of Energy to place certain signs regarding environmental information reciprocity at the Canadian-United States border.
United States-Canadian Environmental Information Reciprocity Act of 1988 - Directs the Secretary of Energy to place a sign, within 30 days of this Act's enactment, at each highway border crossing with Canada informing persons entering the United States of the number of powerplant smokestack scrubbers in this country and their absence from powerplants in Canada. Authorizes the Secretary to make other information regarding our acid rain programs available to visitors returning from Canada.
