A bill to amend title 38, United States Code, to provide a 3.5 percent increase in the rates of compensation and of dependency and indemnity compensation (DIC) paid by the Veterans' Administration.
Veterans' Compensation Amendments of 1987 - Increases the rate of veterans' disability compensation, additional compensation for dependents, and the clothing allowance for certain disabled veterans. Increases the rates of dependency and indemnity compensation for surviving spouses and for children, as well as the rates of supplemental dependency and indemnity compensation for children.
