A bill to provide emergency assistance to certain agricultural producers.
Emergency Agricultural Assistance Act of 1987 - Amends Federal law to provide emergency agricultural assistance to producers who suffered crop quality reductions caused by drought, floods, hail or excessive moisture in 1986. (Current law only applies to quantity reductions.)
Permits application or reapplication for such assistance under this Act prior to March 10, 1987.
Requires the Secretary of Agriculture to make emergency agricultural assistance available within 45 days of application, or by March 15, 1987, whichever is later. (Current law requires assistance to be made within 45 days of application.)
