A concurrent resolution honoring the distinguished service of the pioneers of supersonic aerial flight, as exemplified by Air Force Brigadier General Charles E. "Chuck" Yeager's many years of distinguished United States service, on the 40th anniversary of his becoming the first man to fly an airplane faster than the speed of sound.
