A bill to revive and make permanent the provisions of section 1619 of the Social Security Act which authorize the continued payment of SSI benefits to individuals who work despite severe medical impairment, to amend such Act to require concurrent notification of eligibility for SSI and medicaid benefits, to require notification to certain disabled SSI recipients of their potential eligibility for benefits under such section 1619, and to provide for the conduct by the General Accounting Office of a study of the effects of the work incentive provisions of such section 1619.
