Accepts the Statue of Jeannette Rankin, the first woman elected to the Congress, for the National Statuary Hall. Extends the thanks of the Congress to Montana for contributing the statue.
Authorizes ceremonies and the temporary placement of the statue in the rotunda of the Capitol on May 1, 1985. Directs that such proceedings and other pertinent matter be printed as a Senate document.
