A bill to require a study to examine the costs and benefits of using irrigation storage facilities for flood control purposes in the North Platte River Basin.
North Platte Basin Flood Control Study Act of 1985 - Directs the Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, and the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Commissioner of the Bureau of Reclamation, in cooperation with the States of Wyoming and Nebraska and appropriate non-Federal interests, to conduct a cost-benefits study of using irrigation storage facilities for flood control purposes in the North Platte River Basin.
Requires a report to the Congress by October 1, 1986. Authorizes appropriations.
