S. 482 — A bill to provide for the designation on income tax forms of contributions to retire the public debt.

Summary

Permits the designation on income tax returns of one dollar or more of any overpayment of income tax and any cash contributions which the taxpayer includes with such return for the reduction of the public debt. Requires the transfer of such amounts to a special account to be used to reduce the public debt.
