Summary

Amends the Higher Education Act of 1965 to revise provisions relating to work-study programs to direct the Secretary of Education to assure that whenever a student declines, or declines to apply for a Pell grant, the amount of the Pell grant for which such student is eligible shall not be included in the determination of resources for the demonstration of financial need for purposes of eligibility for work-study assistance.
