A resolution to express the sense of the House that the Administration should broaden its interpretation of the Trade Adjustment Assistance Act to include employees of the U.S. oil and gas industry and oil and gas service industry to qualify for certification.

Expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that: (1) employees of the U.S. oil and gas industry (including the oil and gas service industry) have been directly injured by the decline in domestic oil exploration caused by increased petroleum imports; and (2) the Administration should immediately broaden its interpretation of the Trade Adjustment Assistance Act in order to allow such employees to qualify for certification under the Act.

States that if the Administration does not act immediately to resolve this matter the House will address this issue on the first appropriate vehicle to be considered by the full House.
