A resolution expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the President should encourage Papua New Guinea and Indonesia to resolve their political and economic differences and to adhere to policies of peaceful coexistence.

States that the President should: (1) encourage Indonesia and Papua New Guinea to resolve their differences in the interests of peace; and (2) request that the countries comprising the Association of South East Asian Nations make similar encouragements to those two countries.
